Description:
Soul Work: A Collection of Spoken Word Pieces for the Healing of the Heart
This is no ordinary poetry book.
Soul Work is a journey of healing—an honest, unfiltered collection of spoken word pieces written to confront the wounds we often hide and the emotions we rarely express. With raw transparency and redemptive hope, spoken word artist, Eric Kellum invites readers to look within and begin doing their own soul work.
Each of the 24 poems addresses a real issue that impacts our spiritual and emotional health—topics like mental health, social justice, trauma, marriage, parenting, purpose, and domestic violence. Every piece carries a rhythm of conviction and compassion, pointing us toward healing, wholeness, and freedom.
To make the experience more interactive, each poem includes a QR code that links to its live spoken word performance, allowing readers to hear and feel the power behind the words. You’ll also find reflective journaling spaces where you can write, process, and apply what each piece awakens in you.
This is not just poetry—it’s a mental and spiritual health resource.
It’s art that speaks. It’s truth that heals. It’s Soul Work.
So take a deep breath.
Turn the page.
And start doing the work that helps your soul breathe.
